About the beach
A sandy beach south of the Angeiras breakwater, in a place that keeps the feel of a fishing village, with colourful huts by the sea and fish restaurants along the promenade. The breakwater gives some shelter from north-westerly swell and northerly wind, making this the most suitable part of Angeiras for surfing, but there are rocks and rip currents. It is part of the Praia Acessível programme.
