About the beach

A narrow beach, about 300 m long, flanked by tall cliffs in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and usually submerged at high tide. Its highlight is the fossil dune, formed some 10,000 years ago. Access is via the Estrada de Santa Marta, with parking along the road, and down to the sand by a staircase or an accessible wooden boardwalk.
