About the beach

A small beach at the foot of the cliff on which the white houses of the former fishing village of Azenhas do Mar rise in terraces. There is sand only near the water, and it can disappear completely at high tide. The ocean pool was closed by the Cascais Port Authority in August 2025 because of structural defects; its reopening was reported in May 2026, so check on site.
