About the beach

A wild beach between cliffs south of Magoito, near Fontanelas, with a rock-strewn shoreline. Access is difficult and starts from the car park at the top. At low tide you can walk to Magoito beach. It is used mainly by anglers and people looking for an isolated beach. The cliffs are unstable: it lost its classification as a beach in 2008 because of the risk of rockfalls, so do not stay near their base. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
