A small beach between cliffs in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, at Rodízio (Colares), between Praia Grande to the south and Praia das Maçãs to the north. It is smaller and more sheltered from the northerly wind than neighbouring Praia Grande. Getting down to the sand is considered difficult. It is popular with surfers and bodyboarders and with anglers, including spearfishers. A clifftop promenade with viewpoints runs above it. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
