About the beach
A small beach tucked between cliffs north of Magoito, near Cortezia, in the parish of São João das Lampas, inside the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Access is down the cliff itself and the descent is demanding: Sintra council recommends comfortable shoes. It draws people looking for a quiet, sheltered spot away from the busier beaches in the municipality. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
