A stretch of sand about 2 km long south of São Julião beach, at Assafora (São João das Lampas), backed by high cliffs. Access is not easy: the way down starts where the coastal path meets the Mós path. There are no beach facilities. At low tide you can walk along the sand to São Julião. Sintra council notes that it is known as a naturist beach. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
