Praia do Aquário is on the Nevogilde seafront in Porto, just north of Homem do Leme beach and south of Castelo do Queijo. It is an urban beach of sand with rocky outcrops, edged by the seafront promenade, and it shares the same bathing water as Homem do Leme. A lifeguard is on duty in the bathing season. You can walk there along the promenade that links Foz with Matosinhos. In rough seas the rocks call for care when getting into the water. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
