On Avenida do Brasil in Foz, the Gondarém bathing water covers two beaches: Gondarém, a narrow 115-metre tongue of sand long known as Praia da Conceição, and Praia do Molhe, 168 metres long and bounded by a jetty reaching into the sea. Above it stands the Pérgola da Foz, a balustrade built around 1930 that works as a viewpoint. The sand is broken by rocky outcrops and backed by the seafront promenade. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
