About the beach

A beach of rounded pebbles and rock on a fajã beside Cabo Girão, within the Cabo Girão protected area and marine nature park. Access is by the Fajãs do Cabo Girão cable car, which leaves from Rancho on Estrada de Santa Clara. There is no lifeguard, toilets, showers or beach facilities.
