About the beach
A narrow fajã west of Cabo Girão, sheltered by a cliff about 250 m high, with a pebble beach and very clear water. It can only be reached by cable car or by boat. It has a bar and restaurant, a small jetty with showers and sunloungers, and plots of tropical fruit such as mango, banana and avocado. There is no lifeguard assigned.
