About the beach
Bathing area in the village of Folques, about 5 km from Arganil, on a pool created by a weir on the Aveleira stream. It has a grassy area with trees, a picnic area, a leisure area and sports pitches. There is no lifeguard. In July 2026 bathing was prohibited during two periods (8-13 and 15-22 July) because of microbiological contamination.
