About the beach

River beach on the right bank of the River Alva, in the parish of Mouronho, upgraded to improve accessibility: it has reserved parking, a lifting platform between the bar and the beach, an amphibious chair and braille signage. It has lifeguard cover, a bar, a restaurant, small-boat hire and a picnic area with barbecues. From 20 to 22 July 2026 bathing was prohibited because of microbiological contamination.
