About the beach

Bathing area in the parish of Castelo Branco, in Horta, with a Blue Flag in 2025. It combines a natural rock pool with concrete access, an open-sea area with a basalt-slab bottom and two artificial saltwater pools, one for children and one for adults. It has a concrete sun deck, picnic area, playground, lifeguard supervision, showers and a bar.
