About the beach

One of the largest bathing areas on Faial, with a sandy beach and open-sea bathing over a sandy seabed, where some rocks allow snorkelling. It looks across to the island of Pico and is exposed to the swell. It has toilets, showers, a bar and a restaurant, sits next to the campsite and has a lifeguard during the bathing season.
