About the beach
Natural rock pool with concrete access and an open-sea bathing area, about five minutes from Madalena, surrounded by the walled vineyard plots listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and looking across to Faial. The bottom and sun deck are basalt slab. There are toilets and a bar right by the pools.
