About the beach
A wide beach framed by warm-coloured cliffs with hollows, sinkholes and arches, and pine woodland around it. The footpath down follows a ravine lined with stone pines and cork oaks. From the eastern end, the Torre da Medronheira trail runs along the clifftops to Olhos de Água. It has restaurants, toilets, lifeguards in the bathing season, and is a designated accessible beach.
