About the beach
Beach on the Castelo de Bode reservoir, also known as Praia Fluvial da Castanheira, set in woodland. There is no sand: swimming is from a large floating pool with a children's area and sunbathing platforms. It has a lifeguard, a bar, a restaurant and a jetty for small boats, and hosts a wakeboard cable park, as well as kayaking, pedal boats and windsurfing.
