About the beach
River beach on the Codes stream, which cuts through a rocky massif via a natural passage in the rock, forming small waterfalls and natural pools. A boardwalk of about 2 km links the beach to the waterfalls, and the Penedo Furado viewpoint stands above. The shallow water makes it suitable for families. It has a lifeguard, a bar with a terrace, a picnic area, a playground, changing rooms, a lawn, a sandy area and parking.
