About the beach

A rural river beach on the River Cávado at Crespos, set in dense woodland, with a lawn and shade in the picnic area. It has a bar, toilets, parking and a marked-off bathing area, with a watermill upstream; the Trilho dos Solares trail and the Hombra watermills are nearby. Releases from the Caniçada dam affect the flow, so follow the lifeguards' instructions.
