About the beach

A rural river beach on the banks of the River Cávado at Verim, surrounded by oak woodland and other native vegetation. It has a café-bar, toilets, showers, parking, a picnic area, a children's playground and a volleyball court. It is part of the Accessible Beach programme and has an amphibious wheelchair; in 2026 a lifeguard is on duty from 13 June to 13 September.
