About the beach

A beach east of the Lagoa dos Salgados, a wetland visited by migratory birds, with dunes and an extensive boardwalk network leading to Praia Grande or Galé. The lagoon is not suitable for bathing. The sea is usually calm in summer. It has a restaurant, toilets, beach services, lifeguards in the bathing season and ample parking, and is a designated accessible beach.
