A beach near Ferragudo framed by high cliffs banded in ochre, pink and white, with caves at their base and, to the west, the isolated rock stack of Leixão da Gaivota. It is classified as a limited-use beach because much of the sand lies within a rockfall risk zone. It has a restaurant, toilets, beach services and lifeguards in the bathing season, with a small car park.
