Praia da Rocha, in Portimão, is a beach of more than 1 km, according to the council, with a wide boardwalk running along the sand. Behind it, the seafront avenue is lined with hotels, bars, terraces and a casino, ending at Portimão Marina. The council lists ten links between the beach, the promenade and the marina, toilets including accessible ones, showers, a medical post, a sports area and a children's playground on the sand.
