A golden-sand beach, about 245 m long, west of Praia da Rocha, beside the headland of the Três Castelos viewpoint, from which a staircase leads down to the sand. The cliffs have heavily sculpted rock formations with arches, caves and ledges; the name refers to the rock stacks that hold out as the coast retreats. A sand-replenishment scheme, begun in November 2025, covers the coast from Vau to Três Castelos, including this beach; it was paused for the 2026 bathing season and is due to resume after the summer. Check on site for fenced-off areas.
