A small beach in Ferragudo by the eastern breakwater at the mouth of the Arade, next to Praia do Pintadinho. A steep stone staircase cut into the cliff leads down from a viewing area at the top. The cliffs are heavily fractured and blocks from old rockfalls lie on the sand. On the river side the water is calm and the sand scarce; on the ocean side the beach is wider and the waves draw surfers. It belongs to the Pintadinho bathing water, but the lifeguarded area is at Pintadinho. Water quality was rated Good in 2025.
