The first beach south of Zambujeira do Mar, inside the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The sand lies at the foot of a tall cliff and is broken up by rock formations that appear and disappear with the tide. It is reached by a staircase and has no beach facilities. Since 2024 it has been classified as a limited-use beach. The Atlantic here is moderately exposed, with a tidal range of about 3.5 m. It was awarded the Blue Flag in 2026.
