Odeceixe Beach lies at the northern tip of Aljezur municipality, at the mouth of the Seixe stream, which forms the natural border between the Algarve and Alentejo. The sand fills the end of a valley enclosed by tall schist and greywacke cliffs. You can swim in the sea or the river, and at low tide lagoons form that children love. It is one of the 7 Wonders – Beaches of Portugal. Access is easy by ramp and steps, there are toilets, bars and a tourist information point, and the MEO Odeceixe webcam streams the sea live.
