A wild beach on the Costa Vicentina near Rogil, north of Praia da Amoreira, inside the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The way in crosses pine woods and dune fields; you then go down the cliff on a steep path with steps on the final stretch. The sand is narrow and the cliff sheds loose rock, so it is best visited at low tide, when a natural amphitheatre of black schist appears at the northern end. Usually deserted, it is used mainly by anglers. There are no facilities. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
