A sandy stretch of Porto Santo's beach by the mouth of the Ribeiro Cochino stream, adjoining the Ribeiro Salgado section, near several hotels. The medium-to-fine sand, of biogenic origin, is sought after for the therapeutic properties attributed to it, and the bathing area shelves gently. Access is free from the ER120 road, with parking, a cycle path and restaurants a few metres away.
