A more natural section of Porto Santo's beach, adjoining Calheta, near the western tip of the island. The medium-to-fine sand, of biogenic origin, has therapeutic properties attributed to it, and the surroundings consist of a dune ridge and farmland, with a cycle path. Access is free from the ER120 road, with parking; the official profile records no beach facilities or lifeguard cover.
