About the beach

A beach of fine to medium sand with several rocky outcrops, south of Cape Santo André, in A Ver-o-Mar. The bathing water combines the Esteiro, Coim, Quião and Santo André beach fronts, and an elevated boardwalk over the dunes starts here. On the northern stretch, traditional gathering of sargasso seaweed still goes on, with the seaweed laid out to dry on the sand. It is part of the Praia Acessível 2026 programme.
