About the beach
Small beach at the entrance to a valley of tall juniper scrub and limestone outcrops, between pale cliffs, with a small dune field by the stream mouth. The pebbles, known as rebolinhos, are used to build windbreaks. It is about 4 km along a dirt track from Raposeira, with no public transport, and has no beach facilities or lifeguard.
