About the beach

A beach at the northern tip of the Tróia peninsula, between Praia de Tróia (Tróia-Mar) and Praia de Tróia-Galé, across the water from Setúbal and the Serra da Arrábida. According to the APA, the sand is wide, reaching more than 300 m across in places. In the bathing season (30 May to 30 September 2026) it has lifeguards. The Espichel–Odeceixe coastal plan records kitesurfing among the beach's uses. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
