It is a beach that is conveniently accessible for city residents — it does not have the resort scale of the Arrábida beaches, but brings the sea within walking distance of the city. Setúbal itself, with its fish market and riverside front, is an excellent starting point for exploring this coast. For beaches with emerald water and limestone cliffs, the Arrábida beaches are a short drive away.
