About the beach
A wide sandy beach in the Serra da Arrábida, one of the most popular in the area thanks to its easy access and calm water. At low tide a sandbank forms a small cove that is used for windsurfing. It has lifeguards, parking, a bar and a restaurant, and is part of the Praia Acessível programme. During the bathing season, car access is restricted under the Arrábida Sem Carros scheme, with a bus from Setúbal.
