About the beach
An urban sandy beach in Francelos with a wide dune system. It combines the Francelos and Dunas Mar bathing waters; at Dunas Mar there are submerged rocks that are exposed at low tide. It lies on the coast followed by the Linha Azul, Gaia's seaside footpath. Both areas have lifeguards during the bathing season and fly the Blue Flag.
