About the beach

An urban sandy beach in Madalena, split into Madalena Norte, with a long stretch of sand, and the smaller Madalena Sul, both with small rock formations at the water's edge. It lies on the stretch of coast followed by the Linha Azul, the seaside footpath linking Cabedelo to S. Félix da Marinha. Both areas have lifeguards during the bathing season and fly the Blue Flag.
