An urban beach in Madalena, by Rua 25 de Abril, with a very long stretch of sand in a shallow bay. It lies between Canide Sul to the north and Madalena Norte to the south, on the stretch of coast followed by the Linha Azul, the seafront footpath that runs from Cabedelo to S. Félix da Marinha. It was awarded the Blue Flag for 2026, with a flag season from 15 June to 13 September, and water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
