A wide beach east of Praia da Falésia, where the red cliffs drop away and give way to dunes, with the Vilamoura marina breakwaters in view. It is also known as Praia dos Tomates, after the farmland of the Ribeira de Quarteira floodplain. The access road ends in 1–2 km of dirt track. It has restaurants, toilets, lifeguards in the bathing season, and is a designated accessible beach.
