Beach guide
Praia da Marinha is in the municipality of Lagoa, beneath sheer cliffs and rock arches hanging over the sea. It is one end of the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail (Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos), a 5.7 km path linking it to Praia de Vale Centeanes. Steps lead down to the sand. With the University of the Algarve and CCDR Algarve, Lagoa council has marked out underwater trails to explore with a mask and fins. The coast between Benagil and Marinha is part of the Algarve Reef – Pedra do Valado Marine Natural Park. There are lifeguards in the bathing season, plus a bar, restaurant and toilets.

- To walk the Seven Hanging Valleys one way: Vamus route 77 serves Marinha on weekdays and route 107 stops at Vale Centianes (Praia).
- There is no MEO Beachcam webcam at Marinha; in the Lagoa area, the network's cameras are at Ferragudo, Carvoeiro and Senhora da Rocha (Praia Nova).
