About the beach
A wide beach flanked by dunes, south of Costa de Santo André, with an average width of 70 to 80 metres. The sea is strong and calls for care. Footpaths lead from here to the Sancha Lagoon, a nature reserve with diverse fauna and flora. It has lifeguard cover, parking, a bar and a restaurant, was awarded a Blue Flag in 2025 and its water was rated excellent.
