About the beach
A quiet beach at the mouth of streams, between Salema and Almádena, where a small lagoon sometimes forms. Next to the sand are the remains of a Roman villa, including a fish-salting works. There are no beach facilities and no lifeguards; there is a picnic area nearby. Following the stream inland you may spot otters or their tracks.
