About the beach

River beach created by restoring an irrigation weir on the Isna stream, next to the village of Marmeleiro, surrounded by alders, poplars and fig trees. It has a wide sandy area, tables and benches, a shallow area for children and a deeper one for adults. Rarely crowded and with few support facilities, it is popular with anglers and with people visiting the stream's watermills. No lifeguard is provided.
