About the beach
Bathing area on the Santa Luzia dam reservoir, between large rock outcrops near the dam wall, with a floating pool. There is a cycle path, a fitness circuit, walking trails, a sports court and a water-sports centre, and the reservoir is used for canoeing, climbing and fishing. It had lifeguard cover in 2026, but scheduled works on the dam could temporarily lower the water level and restrict bathing.
