About the beach
River beach in the centre of the town of Pampilhosa da Serra, on the river Unhais, formed by a weir by the bridge and opened in 2010. A wooden boardwalk follows the banks, with large green areas and plenty of shade. It has a lifeguard, a bar, a picnic area, a playground, changing rooms, parking, canoe hire and an amphibious chair for assisted bathing.
