About the beach
A rural river beach on the banks of the Ribeira de Moimenta at Cavez, about 100 metres from where the stream flows into the River Tâmega. The bathing area is created artificially by two weirs. Benches and picnic tables stand by the water. The bathing season is short: in 2026 it ran from 18 July to 6 September.
