About the beach

A river beach on the River Caima at São Pedro de Castelões, five minutes from the centre of Vale de Cambra, with a lawn and a sandy area beside old watermills. It is the only beach in the municipality with a lifeguard and is a Praia Acessível. It has a bar, a playground, a climbing wall and parking. In September 2025, bathing was prohibited for 10 days after Salmonella was detected.
