About the beach
On the bank of the River Minho, in the parish of Lovelhe next to the INATEL site, the Lenta river beach has a small strip of sand surrounded by around 30,000 m² of green space, with lawns and riverside woodland that gives shade down to the water. There is parking, a picnic area and a bar, and a lifeguard is on duty during the bathing season (in 2026, from 27 June to 30 August).
