A rural white-sand beach, also known as Gelfa beach, with a long stretch of sand bounded by dunes and rocky areas. The landscape is defined by the Forte do Cão, built between 1699 and 1702 and listed as a Property of Public Interest in 1967, and by the Gelfa National Forest around it. There are food and drink services, and the Gelfa campsite is close by.
